Australia's botanical wealth is unlike anywhere else. Cut loose from the surrounding landmasses some 45 million years ago, the continent drifted north alone — its plants left to adapt to drought, bushfire, and some of the harshest soils on Earth. The result is a flora with an identity entirely its own. It isn't trying to be unique. It simply is.

Our native plant-life has botanical resilience: leaves fortified with lignin, root systems built to mine and hoard scarce minerals like buried treasure. These are the plants – clever, concentrated, extraordinary – that form the backbone of our formulas.

Buddha Wood

Also known as Desert Rosewood, Buddha Wood is distilled from the heartwood of Eremophila mitchellii, a hardy native tree found throughout Australia’s dry inland regions.

Its oil carries a smoky, resinous depth – think aged wood, warm resin, and a hint of whisky-like sweetness. Valued for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory character as much as its grounding scent, Buddha Wood brings a calming quality to our hand wash and hand balm.

Boronia

Native to the sandy heaths of south-west Western Australia, Boronia flowers are famous for their citrus perfume and bell-shaped petals, blooming in bright pink, magenta and chocolate-brown shades. Its extract is complex, with an unusually layered scent – at once floral, berry-like and spiced.

Antioxidant-rich and soothing, Boronia finds its home in hand care – a dose of romance for the everyday.

Flannel Flower

Despite their gentle, soft, woolly petals, Flannel Flowers are surprisingly hardy, at home across coastal heath, scrub and dry sclerophyll forests in Australia. They’re part of the Apiaceae family of plants – along with parsley, fennel and celery – with a similarly rich and healing antioxidant profile.

Flannel Flower supports skin recovery while vetiver and cedarwood lend a verdant lift to our hand wash.

Lillypilly

Native to the lush coastal rainforests of Australia’s East Coast, Lillypilly is a vibrant rainforest berry, loved for its tart, sweet fruit and naturally high levels of Vitamin C, antioxidants and fruit acids.

A favourite of ours (and parrots, currawongs and figbirds), it features in our original Hand Wash, gently cleansing and purifying with a bright, botanic finish.

Kakadu Plum

Apologies to the humble orange – Kakadu Plum is believed to be the richest natural source of Vitamin C on earth. This small but mighty super-fruit is sourced from Northern Australia’s dense tropical woodlands.

Kakadu Plum inspired our original Hand Balm, which pairs beautifully with Lillypilly Hand Wash to nourish and protect hard-working hands.

Eucalyptus

Nothing says “Australia” quite like the scent of Eucalyptus. With hundreds of species spread across the continent – feeding koalas, perfuming the air after rain, sheltering entire ecosystems – these towering trees yield a crisp and clarifying essential oil.

With recognised antibacterial and antiviral properties, Eucalyptus plays a key role in our Hand Sanitiser, helping revive and refresh the hands with all its bushland splendour.

Lemon Myrtle

At home in a slice of citrus cake, cup of tea, natural medicine or body care, Lemon Myrtle is an aromatic plant found in the subtropical rainforests of Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Its essential oil is naturally rich in citral, the compound behind its clean citrus scent with antibacterial and purifying properties. In our body care, Lemon Myrtle brings warmth as well as lift: citrus softened by woody, herbaceous tones.

Caviar Lime

Also known as Finger Lime, these narrow fruits contain hundreds of tiny citrus pearls bursting with a sweet-tart flavour. 

Native to the subtropical rainforests along the coastal border of New South Wales and Queensland, Caviar Lime is rich in Vitamin C and tonifying fruit acids. It’s a natural fit for our Body Scrub – softly resurfacing the skin and lifting away dullness to reveal a smooth, radiant complexion.

Desert Lime

Small, sharp and built for extremes, Desert Lime is native to the semi-arid regions of inland eastern Australia. Drought-hardy and resilient, it’s a native citrus that holds its own in the harsh outback climate.

Rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants, it helps support hydration and radiance, with naturally brightening properties.
