Formulations

All of our products are made and filled in Australia.
Our plant-based formulations feature botanical extracts and pure essential oils. All of our products are free from sulphates, parabens, sensitising soaps, drying alcohols, and mineral oil fillers. You can view the full list of ingredients on each product page online or on the back of our packaging. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.due to its gentle nature.
However if you have known sensitivities, it's always a good idea to perform a patch test before using new products.
Some of our formulas include fragrance alongside essential oils and plant extracts. Our product range includes scents created purely from EO’s while some combine them with either natural or synthetic fragrance to provide more stable and long-lasting aromas.
Natural fragrances are derived from isolates of essential oils and plant extracts, while synthetic fragrances are man-made.
All of our products comply with IFRA Standards, guidelines developed by the International Fragrance Association, check ingredients listed on each product page for more detailed info.
Yes, preservatives are essential in formulations to protect against bacteria. We use the minimal amount necessary to ensure product safety and shelf life..

Our products use a broad-spectrum preservative system long considered safe within cosmetics:
- Hand washes and body cleansers: benzyl alcohol and phenoxyethanol
- Hand balms and body lotions: benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid
Yes, all our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
Our products are not tested on animals nor do we use any animal-derived ingredients.
No, however our products are considered natural. Our formulas use natural ingredients derived from plants.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend speaking to a health professional before using our products.
Yes, including laundry products.

Packaging

Our bottles are made from rPET which includes 50% recycled content and we recommend the use of 1L Re:fills to replenish. Once they need replacing bottles can be put through kerbside collection. Please remove the pump (and reuse where possible) before recycling the bottle.

Please note that we transitioned from PETG to PET in 2024. PETG bottles can be recycled through specialist services like TerraCycle® or returned to David Jones as part of their Beauty Cycle program.
Our range of hand washes, hand sanitiser, body cleansers and shampoo can be replenished with 1L Re:fill pouches. Replenishing with Re:fills uses 80% less plastic than 2 x 500ml bottles.
Our gift boxes are made from FSC-certified paper, with products held in trays of compressed paper pulp. Both the box and tray can be placed in your kerbside recycling bin. Gifts sets and magnums also come with a cotton drawstring bag that can be reused indefinitely.
We use reusable and recyclable cardboard boxes with paper packaging for cushioning. Some orders may include BioFill peanuts made from corn starch, which are fully compostable.

Shipping

We ship Australia-wide with Australia Post. You can choose between standard or express post at checkout.

Please note: Orders that contain hand sanitiser products can only ship with standard shipping due to aviation safety guidelines.
We ship to most countries worldwide* with DHL Express. International orders may be subject to duties and taxes determined by customs in the recipient's country. You will receive tracking notifications and any customs requests via email. Please contact DHL or your local customs authority if you need assistance with clearance of items. LEIF provides all relevant export information to DHL upon dispatch but importing and customs clearance is the sole responsibility of the customer.

We offer free standard shipping within Australia on all orders over $50 and free express shipping* on all orders over $150.

For international shipping, you will receive a DHL Express quote at checkout based on your location.

*Orders containing Hands-On Gel Hand Sanitiser will only have the option at checkout to ship via standard shipping due to Australia Post aviation safety requirements.
Yes, we ship with Australia Post and can ship to any address in Australia, including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers.
Unfortunately we do not have any collection options at this time.
When your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Simply click the tracking link to view the delivery status. You can also add a mobile number to receive updates via text as well as email.
Please try to enter your correct delivery address at checkout as this information is automatically generated onto the shipping label. If you notice any errors after you place your order, please contact us (via team@leifproducts.com) as soon as possible to rectify prior to dispatch from our warehouse.
Digital gift vouchers can be purchased at any time and are issued via email immediately upon purchasing.

Orders

We accept all major debit and credit cards via Shop Pay, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay.
Yes, you can add a gift card and personalised message for $3. The option to add a gift card will be shown before checkout with the option to choose one of three designs. Simply write your message in the space provided and we will include it with your gift. We don't include any invoices or pricing with our orders.
Your recipient will receive their digital gift voucher immediately after checkout via the email provided. If you would prefer to receive the voucher, simply add your email address instead and then you can either print the email or forward it to your recipient. Gift vouchers are valid for two years from issue date, redeemable on our website, leifproducts.com.

Re:fill returns

We fill the Zero Waste Box™ by TerraCycle® with all returned Re:fills we’ve received from our customers. We then ship the box to TerraCycle® where the pouches are sorted and processed into raw materials so that they can be reused and transformed into something new, instead of being sent to landfill.
Yes, however we’ll add 100 points ($10) per pouch to your Fills loyalty account to spend online once we receive your return. We recommend accumulating a few Re:fill pouches to offset the postage cost before you return them to us. It is also advised to send via tracked delivery as we cannot credit you for a missing package.
Yes, you can, but please contact us first to let us know you’ll be dropping by. Our studio hours operate between 9 - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
1. Include your name and email address in the return envelope.
2. Only return 1L Re:fill pouches.
3. Pay the correct postage to track your parcel.
Within two weeks of us receiving your return.
For now, we are accepting 1L Re:fill pouches only. Our bottles now include 50% recycled content to offer easy kerbside collection (pumps removed).

Re:fill subscriptions

Your selected 1L Re:fill products will be delivered automatically to your nominated address on your preferred schedule. Each time your subscription is due for renewal, you’ll receive an email notification to your account. You can pause, modify, or cancel your subscription anytime.

We currently offer Re:fills exclusively through subscription, encouraging bottle reuse to reduce our footprint.
You can update your product and frequency preferences or cancel your subscription from your 'My Account' page. Please note that cancellation is only possible after your first order is fulfilled.
You can edit your details and update your address from your ‘My Account’ page.
We require your details on file for subscription renewals, therefore you will need to create an online account when placing your first order.
